Happy Birthday Allison!

Today we surprised my dear friend Allison for her 24th birthday! We got to her aunt and uncle's house and hid in the back waiting for her to get there! Check out the Baylor themed birthday cake.

AAAAHHHHH!!!

Someone hand me a valium right now! Doomsday is fast approaching! Yes dear friends I am talking about the evil TAKS monster. I now have 9 days left, only 9, to get my dear kiddos ready. Did I teach them all they need to know? Are they even listening to me?! Holy cow I think I'm gonna puke! Oh man I will be one nervous ninnie on March 3rd! Prayers will be needed!

Thank heavens that spring break is just right around the corner!

I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan! My friend Emily and I are just Harry Potter nerds and we love it! I love to read, and try to do it every night before bed.

Or Nascar racing to be exact. You'll find me parked in front of the tv on race weekends.

Reality t.v.

I never realized how much of a reality tv junkie I am! But I always have to watch shows like Jon & Kate Plus 8, Little People Big World, Dancing with the Stars, The Biggest Loser, Dirty Jobs, Deadliest Catch and I mean the list could go on! I don't like to watch the drama filled shows though!

I am a huge fan of their music! They are amazing! I am lucky to have seen them in concert and would do it again!

Gone, but not forgotten

Today we lost our dear Grandpa Haltom. His health was failing and we knew it was coming soon. He was a wonderful Christian man who lived a good long life. Please say a little prayer for my family as we remember this wonderful man.

The countdown is on!

Countdown to the Daytona 500: 19 days! Woohoo!

Countdown to Spring Break: 40 days! And by then the major TAKS test will be over! Hallelujah! And holy cow that's not long!

I'm looking forward to spring break so Julia and I can get some well deserved r&r. Not to mention a healthy dose of shopping therapy. A girl's gotta have that right? I hope that we will always make the time every year to something special together. And this time poor Andrew won't have to deal with our craziness! Hah! Love ya friend! I've got a case of...

Laryngitis. And this darn laryngitis will not go away. I have had it now for about two weeks. It gets better, then worse, then better, and then worse again. Try being a school teacher and "resting" your voice. Hah! Anywho, I'm resting it as much as I can so it can come back again and might possibly be visiting the doctor if not. I am most definitely going to enjoy sleeping in tomorrow and enjoying the last holiday until spring break. And speaking of spring break my best friend Julia and I are planning a little getaway to Fredericksburg. We are just going to shop and relax and enjoy each other's company. I can't wait!
