Frustrations!

Buying a house is great...if only I were living in it right now! I am so ready to be out of this apartment and in my new house already.

To add to the irritation it's the end of school and the children and teacher's are all going nuts. Really do we NEED to be there another week?! And if I weren't in school, I could spend my time getting all the cable and things transferred to the new house, because companies certainly don't work on school teacher time. Thank goodness my mom is there to get my washer and dryer in since they only come in the mornings.

AND, my stupid DVR is messed up when the electricity flashed the other night. Spent 40 minutes on the phone and still doesn't work right. So in I go for a new box and guess what? New box is doing the same thing the old one was! Ahhhh! So all my shows and movies I had saved are gone and I can't record anything new anymore. Great. Grand. Wonderful.

I know there are definitely more important things in life than whining about my stupid DVR and all, but it did make me feel just a teeny bit better typing it out.

On a good note, the apartment changed my lease to end in June so I won't have a rent payment here for July anymore!

Busy!

Life has been so busy lately! These onesies I had tie-dyed by our fabulous art teacher at school for my friends Allison and JD's sweet little girl. I thought they turned out awesome!

The TAKS tests have thankfully come and gone! The countdown til the end of school is officially on!

I close on my new townhome this Thursday and I can't believe it! I am starting to pack up stuff and trying to make sure I get everything I need to done. It's been an adventure for sure with all the money and paperwork and calls involved with buying a house.

We had Everyone Reads Day at school today and my mom came up and surprised the kids to read a story to them. Oh man their reactions were priceless! They had a blast and I'm pretty sure mom did too!
